A Day In Checks.

I hope your having a nice day:) Here is the 1st OOTD of 2015 for you:) It's just a simple outfit but is very comfortable and looks quite stylish. I'm wearing a grey knitted skirt from Primark; it fits perfect;y around my waist and isn't too baggy so I can wear thin tops tucked in. I paired the skirt with a plain white vest top, again from Primark, but over the top of that is a green checked shirt from H&M. I bought the shirt supposing it would be a dress, but as weeks when on it got a shorter and shorter. So, I thought wearing it as a different style of cardigan/cover up would look nice:) I would either wear Chelsea boots or another boots that you have with this look to make it more of a wintery outfit. You can easily make this outfit fit for any season by not wearing tights or wearing ballet shoes/sandals instead.

Have a nice rest of your day:)

I've Been Nominated! - Liebster Award

I have been nominated to do the Liebster Award by Jackson's Cup of Tea, thank you again. If you would like to check out her lovely blog the link will be here.

The Liebster Award is a bunch of questions that are answered by smaller bloggers to allow more viewers the recognize them and get to know more about the person behind the keyboard!

Rules:
1. Link the person who you have nominated

2. Answer the questions given by the nominator

3. Nominate 11 other bloggers who have less than 200 followers
4. Create 11 questions for the nominees to answer
5. Notify all nominees via social media/blogs

Who I have Nominated:

My Questions:

1. A book your currently reading, if any?
2. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
3. Any place you could travel to around the world?
4. Your favourite piece of jewelry?
5. 3 of your hobbies?
6. What's your perfect day out?
7. If you could be a food, what food would you be?
8. How was your Christmas?
9. Are you excited for 2015?
10. Your favourite song at the moment?
11. Why did you begin your blog?

Jackson's Cup of Tea's Questions:)

1. What is the inspiration behind your blog?

There is many people that inspire my blog like Zoella, Niomi Smart & Beauty Crush, but really everyone's blog that I look at has some kind of inspiration for me because they are all so different:)

2. If you had to be an animal what would you be and why?

This is tricky because I have loads of animals that i'd like to be but if i'd have to pick one it would be Orangutan. Just because they are like humans, cute and funny. Plus they are quite strong and my Mum like's Orangutan's. They are very interesting and intelligent as well:)

3. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?

These questions include a lot of thinking, haha. Again, it's very tricky but I think it would have to be Listen To The Man by George Ezra, because his voice is just to die for, let alone his looks! And it's such a gorgeous song with some very beautiful lyrics.

4. If you had to live without technology do you think you'd cope well?

I'd like to think that I would because I think I could keep myself busy but I reckon it would be hard! I'm being too optimistic, haha. It would be very very hard, phone, laptop, camera, games, music:( I actually don't think I would cope very well.

5. Most worn item of clothing?

Probably my grey roll neck jumper that I love and is sooo soft:) I either pair it with a patterened skirt and chelsea boots. They are really good to style and can be easily dressed up or down. Mine is from Gap, the link is here.

6. Best first date?

The boyfriend's that I have had in the past didn't take me out on dates *and the crowd goes aww*.
T

7. Biggest regret, if any?

I don't think it's right to go through life with regrets because all they will do is weigh you down. I have made many mistakes throughout my life but I try and learn from them. I think this is a better way than having regrets.

8. If you had to act in a movie what one would you choose?

I would probably choose The Proposal because Ryan Reynold is one hottie and I wouldn't mind being in a film with him in it:)

9. If you could see a trailer for 2015 would you watch it?

It's hard to say because you don't know what the future holds but I probably wouldn't as I would like it as a surprise. I wouldn't mind having a sneak peak into the good things but I wouldn't be able to see what bad things there are in the future before living them.

10. Favorite bloggers?

I have many that include Beauty Crush, In The Frow, Zoella, Sprinkleofglitter, etc. I have too many:)

11. Tell me a funny story about yourself.

Me and my Mum were shopping in Sainsbury's (a supermarket like Walmart but in Britain that sells crafts, food, clothes, etc) we were looking at some clothes and I saw this lady (which looked quite like my Mum) looking at this horrible cardigan. I didn't really think to check it was my Mum, so I shouted, quite loudly "NO!". The lady (who I realized shortly after wasn't my Mum) turned around quickly and gave me the most stunned face ever. Me being me pretended it wasn't me and quickly looked in the opposite direction after the look she gave which wasn't a good idea because I should have done it sooner. So then I quickly ran to my real Mum and told her what a fool a made myself look. I feel sorry for the lady that I shouted at, oops.

Thank you Jackson's Cup of Tea for nominating me:)

Being Arty.

You may have noticed I have been blogging quite a lot in the past week, this is because I am hopefully *fingers crossed* will be uploading a blog post every other day. This will allow you guys to know when I will be uploading and to have a schedule. If I don't keep to my plan, then I am very sorry and will explain, but with a new year and everything, I WILL DO IT:)

I have taken art as one of my options at school (British students may understand), at the end of year 9 we decide what subjects to carry on studying or drop but have to take English, maths & science *sigh*. I enjoy art and designing a lot and would like to carry that on in my future job but i felt a slight buzz to dabble with watercolour paints tonight:) So, I experimented and I like to paint/draw the iris which is apart of your eye. It may sound a bit odd but I love the way the colours blend with each other inside of it. I used watercolours this time to see how it would work out and I quite like it:) It needs some improvements but it's my first go at painting the iris with watercolour.

I got this kit this Christmas with a few other arty things to go with it and I love it! The pencils and watercolours are great. It's really portable and isn't heavy which means its good for going traveling to paint or draw. I'm not sure if you can get this case anywhere else around the world but I think it's from The Works (A craft & book shop in Britain). Plus I think it would be quite affordable as well as The Works normally have good prices.

Some Favourite Presents From Christmas.

I hope you have had a lovely Christmas and New Year:) Today i'm going to be sharing some of my favourite gifts from Christmas:) I loved Christmas as its a great day to share with your loved ones! We had a great day in the Vandome household:) I hope this new year brings you happiness and joy.

As I have already included a Daisy Dream review in my last post I won't babble on about the perfume in this post but will babble about many other gifts that I received:)

My Mum got me a little card which has a lovely saying about Daughters & Mothers, this is very close to my heart and means a lot:) It's not long but still includes lots of sentimental messages.

We laugh,we cry, we make time fly
Best friends are we my daughter and me!

The two hearts on the silver necklace was a gorgeous present to receive from my Mum and Dad, it's so cute and I wear it mostly everyday. I have wanted a cute necklace like this for a while now and finally got one!

I have been quite obsessed with Pandora lately, since on my birthday I got 2 Pandora rings and for Christmas I got a lovely bracelet. I chose the dark purple leather band because purple is my favourite colour and I liked that it as looks different and unique. Each of these charms have a message to me and represent something special.

I was so happy so open Girl Online, Zoe Sugg's first novel! I have started reading it and it's fantastic, although I haven't got far yet! I'm quite a slow reader! But I can't wait to finish it:)

A massive surprise was my laptop! I have been wanting a laptop for a while but always put off the idea, until on Christmas day my parents surprised me with it! I'm so happy with it and love it to pieces!! So far I have been obsessed with The Sims 4 which is another favourite of mine. Quite frankly I have been stuck playing it all the time! It's very addictive, ha!

Thanks to my brother for taking the photos:)

Maybe some more favourite gifts might be coming soon! I hope you enjoyed this post and have a lovely year to come! Finger crossed I will be blogging a lot more often:)

Daisy Dream ~ Marc Jacobs (30ml)

I hope you all have had a great Christmas and got to spend time with your loved ones. I have a little review for you today.

For Christmas I got Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs. This perfume is now defiantly one of my favourites. The fragrant is sweet, i'm just in love with this perfume!! The boxing and packaging is gorgeous, not forgetting how lovely the bottle is for the perfume itself:) I wear this everyday now and the liquid doesn't seem to be going down too quickly which is great. I really hope I don't run out of this because its one of the best perfumes I have got!

I defiantly recommend this perfume as its a great present or a nice gift to treat yourself! This is not a sponsored blog post and I give all of my honest opinions:)
