Nude Nails

My Mum ordered some more Avon nail varnishes the other day and I fancied trying one of them out. I don't wear nail varnishes that often because I don't have the patience to wait! But Avon's range dry really quickly and are very nice to apply:) I am wearing Avon's Naked Truth with Barry M's Pink Silver Glitter. Both of these polishes together match perfectly! Maybe, I may paint my nails more often...:)

2014 Beauty Favourites

I know this is a bit late but hey ho:) Here are my beauty favourites of 2014! Sorry in advance for some products that might not be cleanest but it shows that I use them a lot right? Anyway here are my beauty favourites of last year:)

Tropic Smoothing Cleanser & Skin Revive

These are my two favourite moisturizers and cleansers. They work on my skin by not making it oily but smooth. If you haven't heard of the brand Tropic before, it's a pure natural make-up and skin company that Lord Sugar has invested in. I love the brand myself however it's not that cheap but works a treat:)

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

I was lucky enough to get the Naked 3 palette for Christmas and I have been using it A LOT. I just love it very much and even though it's quite expensive the colours in it are to die for! There is a mix of shimmers, mattes and metallics in the palette. There is a large mirror and 2 sided shadow brush which comes with it as well. Included are samples of eye shadow primers in the box, which help to prevent creasing.

Avon Super Shock Mascara

I only got this recently but I have used it loads! The mascara is so nice to use and keeps the volume throughout the day. It's not flaky or hard to remove which is good in a mascara:)

Elf Golden Bronzer

I got this when I went to America for my holidays and have used it practically everyday ever since (as you can see by the loss of powder in the middle). Its a lovely bronzer to use and contours your face and cheek bones without it being too dark. The only down side with this is that it may be too shimmery but who doesn't like a bit of shimmer now and then?

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (N'52 - Vanilla)

This is my FAVOURITE foundation! I love it too pieces. It's dewy but not too oily like you have been playing in a pool of grease, eww. It's just a perfect foundation, it's not cakey or too thick and you don't really need concealer because it covers up spots and blemishes pretty well. I would 100% recommend this foundation:)

 Rimmel Stay Matte Primer

Me and my Mum use this to keep our make-up on for the whole day and it really works. We both have completely different skin complextions as it being too oily or too dry but it works for both of us. It's a thick consistency as well which makes you think that it is going to keep your make-up on before even using it. The cream is very smooth as well and easy to rub in.

 Lip Balms

Lately I have been getting really sore lips (probably becuase of my braces) but these 3 lip products have been helping to keep my lips nice and smooth:)

EOS Strawberry

I got this on my holidays because I heard so many good reviews about it. It's smells nice and isn't too creamy on your lips but does help to keep your lips smooth:)

Tropic Lip Love

The orangeness may be deceiving to how much love I have for this product! It isn't orange on your lips! The smell of this is GORGEOUS,  it's kind of an orangey lemon scent . It just smells so nice! I would say that this is the best product for solving sore lips as it works after a couple of days.

Barry M Cor' Balmy (Shade- Adam&Eve)

Again, this lip balm smells lovely and works well. There is a 'moisturizing core' in the middle that adds to the softness and keeping your lips feeling nice and smooth. You can get many other shades in this, I picked the light pink so it doesn't really show the colour.

Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter (Shade- 25 Peach Parfait)

This is a different option to a lip balm as it includes a lipstick with a balm. It's quite creamy as the name of the product is lip butter but it's very nourishing as well. The colour that I chose is very pretty and has a hint of sparkle.

 Rimmel Kate Moss Mascara

I do like this mascara as it gives volume and keeps it up throughout the day. However it can be a little flaky or clumpy sometimes and can be a little hard to get off. But the volume and is great.

Elf Baked Blush

If you want a light shimmery blush that gives you a nice highlight, then this is the blush for you:) It's pale in colour but has a gorgeous shimmer and sparkle that really brightens up your cheeks. It's very subtle but sweet:)

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner

This is the best liquid eyeliner that I have owned and most used. I use liquid eyeliner often and this is the affordable pen eyeliner in my opinion. It's very easy to use and best if you are just starting using it. It has a very thin end to the pen so it's easy to be precise with your wing.

NYC Indivdual Eyes

I love this palette for so many purposes, like the primer, highlighter and the pretty eye shadow colours. It's such a good versatile palette and very good for a starter bunch if eye shadows.

I use this product everyday and I love it. There are a range of colours to choose for your eye brows. The shadow is very pigmented and lovely to use and apply. The creamy thing next to the shadow is a highlighter for your brow bone. I don't really use this often but when I have it's a little shiny and shimmery.

Barry M Nail Paints (from left to right- 357 Ballerina, 310 Mushroom, Vanilla & 337 Pink Silver Glitter)

These are a couple of my favourite nail varnishes of the Barry M range. They are very good quality for a good price. There are so many different range of colours and styles, too many to choose!

Avon Stardust

I got this for Christmas and it's so nice to apply. The brush is nice to use and it dries quickly:) The glitter stays on well and doesn't flake off or chip. The bottle is gorgeous as well, it's such a cool design!

Thank you for reading:)

Review - Avon Nailwear Pro+

As I haven't done a review for a while, I thought I should show you some Avon nail varnish.  I don't use Avon that often but I had an order the other day and got this and another nail polish for free (when you spend over a certain amount). So I thought I should tell you guys the facts☺️

I applied the nail polish a couple of days ago and the application is very smooth. I did have to put 2 coats of it onto my nails though, however I realised today that it could of used a 3rd, as it went a little patchy in some places, but this may only be on the lighter colours.

The shade is a purple-pink colour and looks so pretty especially in this season. The shade is called 'orchid splash'.
It's a little bright which makes it noticeable. I have had quite a lot of compliments on the colour because it's so beautiful!

Over the past day or so I have only had around one mark where the nail varnish has chipped away. This isn't bad for good quality nail polish.

Overall, I do like the nail polish and colour. I do want to try out some different colours to see if they need so many coats, but other than that Avon do some good quality nail polish!

Recommend? Yes☺️

If there are any other products that you would like me to review then leave your suggestions in the comments and I will try and get hold of the products!

Nails In The Sun.

It was the most lovely weather today, so I decided to paint my nails in the sun. For Christmas, I got a pack of Technic nail varnishes and I found 2 colours that look really pretty together. There is a bluey green and the same but in a glittery polish. Also from that collection, I added a clear nail polish to help the varnish stay longer. Technic isn't the best nail varnish brand, because you have to re-coat but the end result looks really cute and summery!

The Steps.

> Put your first coat of your chosen colour onto all of your nails.
> Wait for them to nearly dry and then put your second coat on.
> Again wait for them to nearly dry, but then put your chosen glittery colour onto your thumbnail and ring finger.
> Repeat the waiting steps and then put your second on.
> After waiting for them to nearly dry, put the clear polish on to keep your nail varnish on for longer.
> Wait for these to fully dry and add some rings to finish off the look!

Both of my rings are from Topshop in the sale!
I couldnt find the rings on the website, so I linked their jewellery section for you. If you look in store they will probably have them (only if you want them:)).
